Did you always know you wanted to be a writer?

I did not think I would be an author, but I always enjoyed writing stories when I was younger. I never really thought much about making my writing published but with a little help from my friends I finally decided that I would!

The trident is a significant item in the series. I can't reveal the true significance as it is important to James's battle against evil, but there will be hints dropped throughout the series about why it's significant, its history, etc.

Where did you get the idea for Where the Demon Spies?

When I first started to get ideas for writing this book, I felt inspired by television shows, movies and books that I was watching and reading at the time. I love reading about Norse Mythology and about the Arthurian Legend, and I knew I wanted to write a story about a group of heroes that could take on elements from the shows I've watched and the books I've read.

Do you have any other series planned?

I do plan on writing other series that takes place in the same world, but the main characters may change depending on the timelines.

What are the ages of the characters in your book?

The ages of James and his friends in Where the Demon Spies is 15 and 16 years old. James's mother, Christine, and his father, Max, are in their 30s. Some of the other characters are older though; people part of the supernatural world can live much longer than ordinary people.
